Hello! My name is Jenna, and I am thrilled to be joining Northwood stables. Horses have been a cornerstone of my life from a young age, providing me with endless learning opportunities and unforgettable experiences. My equestrian journey began with my involvement in my local 4-H horse club, where I developed a deep appreciation for horsemanship and community. Over the years, I’ve gained versatile experience across various riding disciplines, honing my skills and building a strong foundation in equestrian sports. My competitive journey includes participating in my high school equestrian team, where I earned several titles and consistently pushed myself to advance my abilities. Additionally, I have cultivated a robust background in performance and show horses, allowing me to understand and excel in the areas of training, preparation, and competition. I have been giving lessons and sharing my passion for the horseworld for years prior. I am the performance coach for Ridgefield’s Wahset team currently and would love to help you with your skills! As I step into this exciting new chapter at Northwood, I am eager to contribute my passion, dedication, and knowledge while continuing to grow and explore new possibilities in the equestrian world.

Hello, I’m Natalie! I’m excited to join the team of instructors here at Northwood Stables! I have been riding horses for as long as I can remember. Growing up I was in 4H and competed at many local open shows. When I first started riding, I loved speed events and participating in local gaming playdays. At the age of 15, I was gifted with a very young and talented mare, who I trained by myself, with occasional help from other local horse men and women. It was then that my passion for performance riding really grew. I enjoy competing in the all around performance events. After spending time prepping myself and my mare, I started showing on the Pinto Horse Association Circuit. We attended multiple Pinto shows in both Oregon and Washington, competing in Western Pleasure, English Pleasure, Halter and Showmanship (my favorite class!) which I was very successful in.
While I love riding myself and showing off the hard work I put into my horses, I love teaching others new skills and watching riders connect and click with their equine partners! I am experienced in teaching all ages and skill levels. I look forward to working with you and watching you grow as a rider!

Hi there! My name is Tessa Anderson, and I am very excited to be joining the amazing instructing team at Northwood stables.
I have been riding since I was 10 years old and have been trained in many disciplines. I have trained and shown in jumping, dressage, gaming events, english pleasure, western pleasure, showmanship, cow events, and many others. I was involved in 4H, open shows, rodeos, WAHSET, and fair court. Showing and competing was amazing but I found my true passion is in instructing and helping riders grow.
I have been instructing and giving horse lessons to all levels in many disciplines for around 10 years. Whether it is for a beginner who has never been around a horse before, to riders who want to explore new techniques. My goal is to help riders understand the fundamentals of riding while building confidence, knowledge, and having fun while doing so. I am looking forward to meeting you all and helping in any way I can. Whether it's a fun relaxing ride or a lesson that challenges you and helps you grow.
Can't wait to meet ya’ll!
